CIRCA 1825
The circular tilt-top with berried laurel-carved edge on a triangular support and concave-sided platform with paw feet and countersunk castors, the column previously mounted, losses to mouldings, the feet previously decorated, the bearers reversed, the underside with Hythe depository label, and with Army & Navy stores label printed 'MRS W.... 13 11 54' and inscribed in blue crayon '85', and with Shaftesbury depository label inscribed 'HERRING', the paper label inscribed 'Fesilian(?)'
