painted and gilt with writhing dragons chasing flaming pearls among clouds above foaming waves, the rims with bands of bats among geometric patterns -- 20in. (51cm.) high, underglaze blue Qianlong six-character marks, pierced wood and marbleised stands -- the stands 17½in. (44.5cm.) high.
