Maker's mark of J.C., Dublin 1746
The circular bowl raised on a circular spreading foot with later crest bearing inscription TOUCH NOT THE CAT BOT A GLOVE to one side, the other later engraved with a sailing ship, 13 cm. (5 in.) high, 22.5 cm. (9 in.) diameter, 1008 gr. (35.5 oz.)
