WILLIAMS-SELYEM
With modest beginnings in a two car garage, Williams-Selyem is the very definition of garragiste winemaking turned good. Available only through the mailing list, the wines have attained cult wine status. Winemaker Bob Cabral subscribes to the philosophy of "cookbook fermentations" in order to let the vintages and the vineyards express themselves. The delicate Cotes de Beaune-styled Pinot Noirs that they produce with single-vineyard focus are a testament to the fact that these guys "get" Pinot Noir.
