Deep ruby core and a garnet rim. Ripe and rich cooked plum aroma, just losing that young oak. With time becoming superbly Burgundian. The palate deep and concentrated, yet retaining an enormous amount of class. Lots of bold and ripe cassis and jam flavour. A superb Vougeot. Best from 2008 -2015+ ***(**) Feb 2004 DW
