Mark of Pieter Pieters, Amsterdam, 1849, also struck with retailer's mark of S.v.OSENBRUGGEN; the salver with mark of Barend Swierinck, Amsterdam, 1801; the dish struck J.A. HOETING 835M, also struck with London marks and later Dutch duty mark
The biscuit box shaped rectangular, reeded rims, the hinged cover engraved with a band of scrolling foliage and flowers, shaped rectangular salver on four shaped feet with corded rim and an oval lobed dish with wavy rim marked on bases
