Two Chinese blue and white 'klapmuts' bowls
One with Kangxi, one with Chenghua six character mark and of the period, both Kangxi (1662-1722)
The first painted to the exterior with scenes of the 'Romance of the Western Chamber', the interior with a roundel of three boys at play below a trellis-pattern border, restored, 20 cm. diam.; the second similarly painted with a trellis-pattern border enriched with cartouches of Symbols, frittings 20.7 cm. diam. (2)
