Tasting note: always deep, with an opaque core; spicy bouquet, eucalyptus, cedar, smoky tea (Lapsang), cheesy - not smelly cheese but a sort of sweaty tannin. Full-bodied, rich, complete, silky, tannins, complex, great length. *****. M.B. (Nov 2000)
