A MARVELLOUS PRIVATE COLLECTION OF FINE WINES, INCLUDING MANY RARE VINTAGES OF MOUTON-ROTHSCHILD AND OTHER FINE CLARET, MATURE BURGUNDY, SPANISH AND ITALIAN WINES AND ATTRACTIVE CHAMPAGNE
The following lots 506 to 651 represents our second offering from this superb Continental cellar (the first offering was in our February sale). This part of the cellar is dominated by the fine wines of Bordeaux. It features a superb collection of Mouton Rothschild, from rare nineteenth century bottlings through to classics of the twentieth century finishing with the fine Millennium vintage in magnums. Put together over many years, most of the older vintages were purchased from past Christie's auctions, this is a truly classic collection
Recently removed from a temperature and humidity controlled cellar on the Continent. All wines have been inspected and packed prior to shipment by Christie's staff and are now lying in Twickenham, Middlesex (EHD)
