Wodhull was the first translator into English verse of all the extant tragedies of Euripides. Upon his death, the library was bequeathed to his sister-in-law, Mary Ingram, who left it to the Severne family. These catalogues represent the only comprehensive record of his important collection, which included the 1460 Catholicon, the first edition of Homer in Greek (1488), and the Aldine Virgil (1501).
