Frederick Perkins was the brother of Henry. Though his library was less spectacular, it comprised an extraordinary Shakespeare collection, including the four Folios (£415, £47, £100, £14) and Quartos, including Romeo & Juliet, 1599, Othello, 1622, Lucrece, 1594 (£164, £130, £200, all to Quaritch), Richard the Third, 1594 (£100), etc. There was also a fifteenth century manuscript on vellum of The Canterbury Tales.
