on a spiral-fluted domed circular foot and with a part spiral-fluted tapering circular body, moulded body band and shaped rim applied with cherub's masks, scrolls and stylised foliage, the interior with traces of gilding, maker's mark indistinct, probably D.& J. Wellby, London 1884 - 10½in. (26.75cm.), 36oz.
