8o (213 x 134 mm). Title printed in red and black. Engraved frontispiece showing view of Lewisham Grammar School by C. Hill. Contemporary presentation binding of dark mauve morocco, sides and spine richly gilt, edges gilt. Provenance: James Farquhar Esq. (gilt-lettered on front cover).

Privately printed catalogue of the library which consisted of Bibles and other theological works, histories, classics and grammars. This copy was bound for presentation to Farquhar, who was an assistant for the Worshipful Company of Leathersellers.
