PRICED and with some buyers' names and bibliographical notes in a slightly later hand. Châteaugiron was a founder-member of the Société des Bibliophiles François. His library was considered to be one of the most beautiful in Paris on account of the choice of copies and the elegance of the bindings. "Une des belles bibliothèques vendues avant 1830" (G. Brunet).
