The seven parts began with "Première partie," February 1926 (linguistics, rhetoric, poetry and French authors of the 12th through 16th century), followed by "Premier partie (Suite)," May 1926 (17th and 18th century French authors). A second Suite to the first part began the next series of consecutively numbered sales in December 26 of 19th century and contemporary French authors, followed by: Part 2: theology, science, bindings, etc.; Part 3: illustrated books from the early 19th century and Romantic period, contemporary illustrated books; Part 4: beaux-arts, bibliography on Flemish and Netherlandish books; Part 5: beaux-arts in fine bindings, and illustrated books.
