Catalogue of an extraordinary assemblage of incunabula, early illustrated books, and books printed on vellum. Butsch, an Augsburg bookseller, became one of the leading dealers of early printed books of his day. At the end there is a section of 28 musical autographs, including complete works by Beethoven, Mendelssohn and Mozart. Many of the incunabula described herein were acquired by the British Museum.
