Typescript catalogue, and most likely the only surviving complete record of Wolfskehl's vast library, purchased en bloc by the collector and publisher Salman Schocken in 1937 in order to finance Wolfskehl's emigration to New Zealand. Parts of it were sold with the Schocken collection of German books and autographs by Hauswedell & Nolte in 1975-1976. In their catalogue, the lots of Wolfskehl provenance were identified by a "W." - Karl Wolfskehl was a poet, and member of the Stefan George circle, and a prolific editor, including the publications of a German private press, the "Ruprecht-Presse." As a bibliographer, he compiled the sale catalogue of the famous Victor Mannheimer collection of Baroque literature. (4)
