2 parts in one volume, small 4o (204 x 148 mm). Copper engraved vignette on title page and 3 text vignettes, all by Jan Goerre. Contemporary mottled calf, double gilt fillet on covers, spine gilt with 5 raised bands, marbled edges (slightly worn).

Highlights include early bibles, sciences (with works by Kepler, Brahe, Finé, Firmicius, Copernicus, Goericke), philosophy, and other subjects.
