The complete sale catalogue of the impressive library that was sold from 26 April to 15 June 1790. Compiled by Crevenna's librarian Tommaso de Ocheda, this most bibliophile collection contained approximately 280 manuscripts and more than 1,500 incunables (as stated in the preface). Lot 68, accompanied by the only illustration of the catalogue, describes what is now known as the 49-line Mentelin Bible (GW 4203). The Crevenna copy has recently been negotiated by Christie's to the Scheide library. (5)
