Banded overal and inlaid with simulated quarter-veneered panels the canted top above a frieze drawer and a hinged fallfront, decorated with a central ribbon-tied roundel depicting a landscape and a gilt-tooled green leather-lined writing surface to the reverse, enclosing a fitted interior with four drawers and eight adjustable shelves, above a pair of tambour shutters enclosing two drawers, above a panelled door enclosing a plain interior with four adjustable shelves
