The case with brass handle to moulded cushion top and with two glazed panels to each side, on block feet, the 17.75 x 19 cm. (7 x 7½ in.) gilt-brass dial with winged cherub mask spandrels and floral engraving, signed Jonathan Puller/LONDON between the strike/silent and regulation rings, silvered chapter ring with fleur-de-lys half hour markers, the matted centre with date and mock pendulum apertures, blued steel hands (restored hour), the fully latched eight day movement with wide plates joined by five ringed pillars, twin wire fusees with pivoted verge escapement (restored), hour strike on bell and pull quarter repeat on three bells (re-instated), the back plate with engraved border and foliate scroll engraving to the centre around further signature Jonathan Puller/LONDON/Fecit, secured to the case with two steel brackets to the upper back plate and with two bolts (lacking) through the lower pillars; case with restorations
