Lot Essay

Georges Cain (1859-1919) an artist who became a writer. He wrote for the Figaro and Annals. He was Conservateur of the Musee Carnavalet from 1897 until his death. There is a fan by him dedicated to Mme. Berthe Paquin in the Musee Carnvalet. It was exhibited in l'Eventail, mirroir de la Belle Epoque, Palais Galliera, 1985.
