Lot Essay

This painting is presented to allow the frame to be simply reversed to view both images.

Wakelin resided in the suburbs of North Sydney and Bay Road, situated on the North Shore in the Berrys Bay lacality and now known as Waverton. Balls Head and Blues Point were natural and favourite subjects for Wakelin and as such he painted many works in this area.
