Contemporary vellum by or in the style of Edwards of Halifax, flat spine with title-label and gilt ornaments, green calf inlay with gilt Greek key pattern at head and foot of spine and round sides, two oval paintings on covers, on the upper cover a young couple converse under a tree with a castle in the background, on the lower cover another couple caught in a storm, gilt edges, green morocco gilt slipcase (light discolouration to the binding, slipcase rubbed).
