MING DYNASTY (1368-1644)
One carved as a recumbent Bactrian camel with head turned to rest atop its back, with finely incised hair markings; the other a pebble carved as a recumbent water buffalo grasping a millet stalk in its mouth, both softly polished and with added russet coloring, the buffalo with some alteration to the stone
