Well carved with a scene of a scholar accompanied by an attendant holding a hu tablet as he bows to a farmer leaning on a hoe in front of an elephant, in a landscape setting with tree-ridged mountains in the distance, all below a band of peony scroll in the shallow sides which is repeated on the exterior, raised on four shallow bracket supports
