LATE 19TH CENTURY
All woven in kesi in similar colors of green, blue, white, brown and with red accents, the first depicting a pair of cranes for a first rank civil official, surrounded by Buddhist and Daoist emblems on a wan-fret ground; the second depicting a pair of golden pheasants for a second rank civil official, with background similar to the preceding; the third a pair of bears, made for a fifth rank military official, also before a background of clouds and auspicious emblems
