Edo Period (late 18th century), signed Kanshosai and with kao (cursive monogram)
The inro lacquered silver and decorated with birds and plants in colored togidashi, the interior cases nashiji with fundame edges; fitted with an ivory ojime carved as a badger; wood box netsuke lacquered with two swimming turtles
