Circular on a flat base, inlaid on the interior with a large panel of two confronted dragons chasing the flaming pearl amongst clouds within a ring of fretwork and with four large auspicious characters, the tray inlaid on the exterior with eight auspicious characters separated by panels of diamond-center diaperwork within fretwork bands, the ground black lacquer
