2o (261 x 230 mm). Two engraved folding maps and 49 engraved plates by G.D. Ehret, F. Garden and others (second map creased and with several small holes catching letters, some plates trimmed within platemark along foremargin with occasional loss of a few letters of imprint or printed border, some minor pale spotting and marginal staining). Contemporary calf, spine gilt (rebacked preserving original spine). Provenance: Imperial Russian Library (stamp on front free endpaper); sold Swann Galleries, 27 September 1962, lot 38.
