HERZL'S NOTE TO ANOTHER NOTED ZIONIST. The note reads in full: "Dear Sir: Tomorrow I will be in my apartment only from 11:30 to noon, and in the 'Welt' at 12:30. Glad to see you." Rabinowitz (1845-1910) was among the earliest to report on the progroms against Jews in Russia in the 1880s. He published the annual Keneset Yisrael, an organ for national survival and Hibat Zion. he also attended the first Zionist Congress.
