AN EXCEPTIONAL SAPPHIRE RING
Centering upon a cushion-cut sapphire, weighing approximately 41.20 carats, flanked on either side by pear-shaped diamonds, mounted in platinum
With report CS 37381-1 dated 17 December 2004 from the American Gemological Laboratories stating that although this material exhibits certain visual characteristics associated with Burma (Myanmar), it is the opinion of the Laboratory, based on the weight of evidence, that the origin of the sapphire would be classified as Ceylon (Sri Lanka). No gemological evidence of heat enhancement present. Clarity Enhancement: None
