AN ART DECO DIAMOND AND GEM-SET BRACELET
Centering upon a sugarloaf cabochon ruby, weighing approximately 7.45 carats, the flexible openwork single, marquise, baguette and old European-cut diamond band, set with carved emeralds and rubies, and rectangular-cut sapphires, mounted in platinum, (ruby of later addition), circa 1930, 6¾ ins.
With report CS 34579 dated 8 February 2001 from the American Gemological Laboratories stating that it is the opinion of the Laboratory, based on the weight of evidence, that the origin of this ruby would be classified as Burma (Myanmar/Mong Hsu Type). Enhancement: Heat
