The marquise-cut diamond, weighing approximately 24.84 carats, suspended by smaller marquise-cut diamonds and a circular-cut diamond navette-shaped link, to the fancy link platinum neckchain, spaced by marquise-cut diamonds, mounted in platinum, 16 ins.
With report 13782293 dated 17 November 2004 from the Gemological Institute of America stating that the diamond is D color, internally flawless clarity
With report 0501097 dated 1 February 2005 from the Gübelin Gemmological Laboratory stating that the diamond is D color, internally flawless clarity; accompanied by a note stating that based on its infared spectrum, the 24.84 ct diamond described in Diamond Report No. 0501097 is classified as type IIa; and an appendix stating that the diamond of 24.84 ct possesses a purity of colour and degree of transparency which are particular to the finest of natural color type IIa diamonds. Diamonds of this type and size, exhibiting a superior quality, are very rare. Such diamonds have been unearthed from only a limited number of sources around the world (e.g. South Africa, Brazil and India)
