Tawny red in colour, with gamey and spicy aromas immediately apparent. The richness of natural alcohol is apparent, so is powerful structure, and chewy, meaty aftertaste. This evolved leather, then chocolate, notes in the glass. One may confidently decant this wine 1-2 hours before service. It appears to gain colour, while its gloriously powerful, rich complexities emerge. AH
