EARLY 5TH CENTURY B.C., MAGNA GRAECIA
The bearded head with double Pan-pipes to his mouth, 3 in. (7.5 cm.) high; a terracotta lamp, the body moulded with Comic mask, with furrowed brow and open mouth, single nozzle, Graeco-Roman period, 3¼ in. (8.3 cm.) long; another terracotta single-nozzled lamp, circa 4th-7th Century A.D., 3½ in. (9 cm.) long; an Etruscan bronze balsamarium in the form of a female head, possibly 3rd-2nd Century B.C., 3¾ in. (9.5 cm.) high; and an Egyptian style plaster Bes head, 4¾ in. (12.1 cm.) high (5)
