AN ORDOS BRONZE OPENWORK BELT PLAQUE
CIRCA 5TH CENTURY B.C.
In the form of a tiger, with fallen ibex beneath its claws, incised decoration, two attachment loops on the reverse, 2 in. (5 cm.) long; a bronze strap ornament in the form of a recumbent stag, with stylized antlers as tangent circles, loop on the reverse; and another similar with attachment ring below folded legs, Eurasian Steppe culture, 5th-3rd Century B.C., 1 5/8 in. (4.1 cm.) and 1 1/8 in. (2.8 cm.) long respectively (3)
