Standing with short curled horns and thick heavy fleece, on integral fragmentary base, 2 7/8 in. (7.4 cm.) high; an East Greek bronze lion head finial, the square-muzzled jaw with detailed teeth, with short blunt-ended tang at rear, perhaps a jeweller's tool, late 7th/first half of 6th Century B.C., 1¾ in. (4.4 cm.) long; and a Roman bronze lion head finial, with thick curling mane, tapered tang at rear, circa 2nd Century A.D., 1½ in. (3.7 cm.) long (3)
