A LATE ROMAN/EARLY BYZANTINE BRONZE SEATED PANTHER
CIRCA 5TH-6TH CENTURY A.D.
With raised right forepaw and tail curled around left flank, pierced spout within open jaw, mounted; and a Thracian(?) bronze lion applique, in profile facing right, with lifted foreleg, possibly a horse bridle attachment, mounted, 3rd Century B.C.
