the first oval with attached himotoshi decorated in silver and black hiramaki-e and takamaki-e on a gold sprinkled ground with a tsuba, attached bamboo kiseruzutsu, signed Zeshin; the second modelled as a tanuki, with attached woven rattan kiseruzutsu; the third inlaid in mother of pearl and stained stagantler with stylised trees, with an attached stagantler kiseruzutsu carved as a knarled branch -- 9in.
