A Khmer-Lopburi gilt-bronze figure of Buddha Sakyamuni
19th century or earlier
Buddha Sakyamuni is cast in three sections and stands in samapada, both hands in abhayamudra, wearing samghati, an ornamented belt, armlets, his face with serene expression, urna, inlaid eyes set below slightly arched eyebrows, broad nose, smiling lips, elongated earlobes and tiara cast with floral motifs
