A Javanese bronze hanging temple-bell
13th/14th century
The temple-bell cast in stupa shape with the semi-circular base supported by a double row of lotus petals, crowned by a canopy of lotus petals surmounted by a double floral lotus cushion supporting the separate cast bull finial standing within a shaped bow issuing the suspension ring, crusty green patina
