Lot Essay

Le Train bleu - this celebrated restaurant, was opened in 1900 by the PLM ( Paris-Lyon-Meditarinee) railway company, in the Gare de Lyon to coincide with the international exhibition in Paris. Its sumptuous interior reflects the full splendour of the Belle epoque.
