Of oblong section with a crenellated border and two leaf and reed handles, engraved with a coat-of-arms, marked on back and engraved 'OMAR RAMSDEN ME FECIT'

The arms are those of Powell, quartering Skull and Folliott for the Folliott Powell family of Brandlesome, co. Lancaster.
