The rectangular case on separate glass base and incised with gilt-heightened cornucopiae, flowers and floral baskets, with inscription to the front ELLES PASSENT TROP VITE/AUPRES DE CEUX QU'ON AIME, the white enamel Arabic dial decorated with floral swags and with pierced gilt-metal hands, the eight day single barrel movement wound from the rear and with vertically positioned cut bimetallic lever balance -- 6¼in.
