The hood with broken arch pediment above blind fret front panel, outset front-fluted columns, conforming pilasters to the trunk, plain plinth on bracket feet, 13 in. wide cut-away brass dial with foliate spandrels to brass Roman and Arabic chapter ring with dot minute track, signed John Weldon/DUBLIN, engraved centre with subsidiary seconds and date rings, eight day movement with four pillars, anchor escapement and rack strike on bell, packing below seatboard -- 91 in. (231 cm.) high
