The shield-shaped dial with gilt-painted Roman and Arabic chapters, signed Moore/Ipswich, brass hands, the short trunk door painted with an equestrian figure, the eight day movement with tapering plates joined by five pillars and with anchor escapement -- 55½ in. (141 cm.) high
