The case with glazed panels to top and sides, moulded frame to door, the plain plinth on raised foot, the 13¾ in. diameter silvered dial of regulator format, blued steel hands, inscribed DENISON'S/FOUR LEGGED GRAVITY/ESCAPEMENT, signed MOORE,/INSTRUMENT MAKER,/LEEDS, the substantial eight day movement with four large front-screwed pillars and secured with screws to an iron back plate, wound from the side, wheels with five crossings, Denison's gravity escapement positioned on the back plate, Harrison's maintaining power, passing strike on bell, with double pulley arrangement for massive brass weight, the substantial three-rod brass and steel pendulum with oval section bob and suspended from the iron back plate -- 80¼ in. (204 cm.) high
