Lot Essay

Eugéne-Antoine Aizelin (b.1821-d.1902) trained at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts. He pursued a successful career producing sculpture in a markedly classical style and exhibited at the Salon where some of his works were reproduced in bronze editions.
