With sloping rim on short foot, the white interior decorated in cobalt-blue, green and black underglaze and bole-red with a large figure of a trotting blue-spotted horse with bridle, four blue tufts issuing scrolling vine that fills the interstices, the rim with alternating green paired leaf and blue rosette motifs between black rings, the exterior with alternating blue and green motifs, chip in rim, foot drilled

拍品专文

A very similar dish depicting a spotted blue horse is in the Kiraç Collection (Laure Soustiel: Splendeurs de la Céramique Ottomane, Paris, 2000, no.57, p.96). The two horses are so close in design that they are probably by the same artist. That example however has a border similar to that of the dish with a bird in this sale, lot 6 on the facing page.
